Platform admins can now add secondary level search filters to their primary search filter. This is particularly useful for helping users to narrow down their location search (e.g. locating their town or village within Torbay).
This platform development was piloted on Devon Connect and is now available to all platforms.
Members can now choose to receive a weekly automated email with a summary of activities matching their Best Match tags eg: activities that match their selected location, interests, skills etc. Members must have at least 2 best match tags selected in their profile to recieve the email.
This was piloted on Hexitime and is now available to all platforms at a small set up cost. Please contact us if you'd like this function enabled on your platform.
On a free text search, members will now see search suggestions based on filters that have already been added to their platform.
Helping platform members to quickly search for and find relevant activities, members and information has always been a top priority of ours.
When a member clicks on 'search options', this now reveals a new advanced search design to help members browse the different filter options more easily.
The design allows member to add a keyword and/or select filters to narrow down their search.
Members can now go back to their previous filtered search. This means that they don’t lose their search as they browse and interact with activities.
A new “hidden keyword” field has been added to all activity submission forms. This helps users and admins add related words that may not be in the description to improve the search relevance for others.
Members can now access an improved personal dashboard to help them navigate around the platform.
We have also introduced additional content management controls so that platform admins can customise page links and button descriptions.
Members who create teams spaces now have the ability to add multiple admins to help them manage their team space. Team admins can now make other team members 'admin' to share team management responsibilities.
If you are using our Guides feature, your administrators can now add content in multiple languages.
We have made improvements to the way platform admins can manage their sub-homepages and members.
If you are using the new sub-homepage feature, we’ve added in the ability to embed activity and member feeds.
It is now easier to manage and link child pages within the CMS and they are clearly highlighted and indexed.
Platform admins with the appropriate permissions can now edit members 'Best Match' settings within the CMS.
We’ve added a new admin level called ‘Member manager’. This level is able to manage members and pages.
Our Best Match filter tags now also display next to each member.
We’ve added a new option in the CMS for platform owner admins to restrict members to one choice from each category of filters when they register and / or update their ‘Best Match’ preferences.
This will be useful to platform owners who only want members to be associated with one organisation or one region, for example.
Platform admins can now create 'sub-homepages' and 'child pages' (pages that relate only to the sub-homepage) as part of their platform.
This is useful for organisations who are working in partnership with others, or perhaps simply want each ‘region’ or ‘community’ to have their own ‘mini site’ within the platform. The objective is to funnel platform members into specific content.
For our clients with the Guides feature enabled, they will now be able to set a guide to be available only to specific member types.
If a guide is restricted to a member type, other member types and logged out users cannot view that guide at all.
We’ve updated the ‘add activity’ pop up and added in the ability to add helpful information and links to the left hand navigation.
This is responding to a request from some of our clients and users who would benefit from clearer instructions, and to help them distinguish between different activity types.
This exciting new feature enables members to sign up to goals that can be set by a platform owner. Platform owners can:
When we first launched our platform, the members stream show all profiles regardless of how complete they were.
Now, only completed profiles (e.g profiles with a picture and occupation description) display by default.
Uncompleted profiles will still appear in a filtered search (e.g. if you are searching for someone by a certain location, name or skill) and these members will see prompts to complete their profile.
Members can now opt out of notifications from team chatrooms with a new ‘Mute' function (already possible within direct messages).
The new message notification has been improved with clearer links and descriptions.
“Platform Admins” will be able to view and edit pages on your platform as well as "Platform Owners". In the next month we’ll be investigating ways to add an additional layer of control on who can edit certain pages.
